LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Dear MOMS,
Happy spring! The beautiful snowy winter was fun but I am ready for the warmer weather and more time outside with my kids.
This month we are happy to have Eunice Cheshire back along with Kathy Paxton to talk about "Rediscovering the Wisdom of a Child". We will learn ways to reconnect spiritually in the simple things we do every day. Due to CLC early release our meeting will be held from 9:30-11. Therefore, our committee announcements will start early to allow adequate time for our speakers. Please join us to relax and enjoy fellowship before Spring break begins. May all those traveling have safe and wonderful vacations.
In honor of Saint Patrick's Day one of my favorite Irish Blessings:

OUR MARCH MEETING
On March 12th Kathy Paxton and Eunice Cheshire will be joining us to discuss "Rediscovering the Wisdom of a Child". Please join us to find ways to reconnect spiritually in the simple things we do everyday.
Kathy Paxton is a wife and mother of two, a gourmet homemaker, a graduate of the HeartPaths' programs for Spiritual Leadership and Spiritual Direction, Secretary of the Board for Spiritual Ministries Institute, and she has served on the Emmaus Board.
Eunice Cheshire is a wife, mother and grandmother who presently serves on the Faculty of HeartPaths and is President of Spiritual Ministries Institute, and for a number of years she served on the Pastoral Staffs of both St. Mark's and Prince of Peace in Plano and as the Director of Women's Programming for Marywood Retreat Center.
Just a reminder that our meeting will be starting at 9:30 am due to CLC early release. Come join us for food, fellowship and friendship.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY
Our March children's activity will be Monday March 29th, 10am. We plan to meet at the Dallas Arboretum for Dallas Blooms. Thanks!!
THE COOKBOOKS ARE IN!!!!!

Adonia and I are so excited to let you know that the cookbooks arrived Monday and look fabulous. They are ready to be sold as of NOW!
"Faith, Food and Fellowship" is our MOMS cookbook comprised of 200+ recipes from our MOMS group at POP. I am so proud of this fundraising accomplishment that we all did together! We only have 220 copies, so reserve yours TODAY! We will be selling the cookbooks to our parish at our Bake Sale on February 7th, however we are taking orders for MOMS now so you can reserve your copy or copies! The cookbooks are $12 for 1 copy or $20 for 2 copies. Think about what a great gift this could be for your mom or mother in law for Mother's Day or a special treat for someone on Valentines Day. Please contact Maureen abouthow many books you would like. Then, bring a check made out to POP MOMS to this month's meeting!
Women's Weekend March 20-21, 2010 & Men's Weekend April 17-18, 2010. Now is the time to renew your commitment to Christ and to one another. You will experience individual spiritual growth as well as growth together as a parish family. This weekend is open to people who are registered at Prince of Peace, who are at least 21 years old, and who have not attended a previous weekend. Meals are provided and there is no charge for attending - it is a gift from people who have previously experienced the weekend.
